Just like many of you, the team here at PreSales Collective has been reflecting on the past year and setting our intentions for the year ahead. And let me tell you, this next year is going to be our best one yet.
When we started PreSales Collective, we never imagined it’d be such a vibrant group of more than 17,000 members that includes everyone from new PreSales professionals and mid-level solutions engineers to seasoned PreSales leaders to new professionals who are exploring PreSales as a career path. Our member base represents a range of professional experience, interests and even geographies - it’s what makes our community so unique. From the podcast and blogs, to the Slack community, to the local programs to our Diversity, Equity, Equality and Inclusion (DEEI) and Women in Solution Excellence (WISE) councils - there is so much amazing stuff happening here at PSC. But if I’m being honest, it can also make our member experience a little overwhelming.
In 2022, our focus at PSC is to architect the best experience for each and every one of our members. No matter where you are in your career, no matter what your interests, no matter where you are located - you will have a unique experience at PreSales Collective that is tailored to your development needs and interests. So whether you are a PreSales Executive in EMEA with a deep passion for DEEI, or a brand new professional who is learning how to master a demo - our vision is that your experience at PSC, the content you receive and the groups that you’re interacting with will be specifically tailored to you.
We already have several initiatives in motion to bring this to life. First, we’re baking in more predictability in our scheduling. You’ll know what content is coming when, so you can tune into the sessions that are most relevant for you. Second, we’re making it easier for you to contribute - whether by suggesting topics, submitting blogs and even hosting casual meetups. Our hope is to make it easier to amplify the voices and harness the intelligence that already exists within this amazing community. We’re continuing to bet big on the next generation of PreSales talent and invest in the PreSales Academy. We successfully graduated our first cohort this year and have set ourselves a goal of graduating 100 more aspiring PreSales professionals in 2022. And lastly, we’re growing the PSC team to ensure our members are getting the greatest value from their PSC experience. This past year, we added two new faces - Kevin Mefford and Mattie Stremic - who drive programming for PreSales Collective and PreSales Academy. And in January 2022, we’re adding a community and events manager and a member experience manager - two roles which will be key to elevate both the experience you have at PSC and the value you receive from our events - both virtual and in-person. I say it often, but I truly mean it. There’s never been a better time to be in PreSales. And there’s been a better time to be a member of the PreSales Collective. I am excited about everything 2022 has in store - and I know you will be too. As always thank you so much for your contributions and support of this community.
